Birthday Flicks + Things I've learnt so far...

Its MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
No not today!
lol
I turned Twen-A year older on the 24th of February. Its not late since i shared posts on my social media (IG and Facebook). Thanks again for all your prayers and good will messages.
But i just came here to blab about what i had learned in this one year and a brief reminder to myself. you never know, i might be helping someone with my learning 😊

So without further ado...
Leggo

1. YOU NEVER KNOW!
This is one of the things i have found very hard to learn. I'm still learning it sef. Sometimes i find myself saying, Oh what if this doesn't work. what if I fail at this, What if he/she says No.Well, what if it works? How about that? You never really know Ene, so what ever you're doing just commit it to God and keep doing. Never doubt yourself or anyone

2. IF YOU DON'T USE IT, YOU'RE GONNA LOSE IT
I listen to Joel Osteen a lottle so, you may probably know that quote. I figured that no matter how blessed and talented you are, you have to keep fanning that gift to flame. Just like the guys with the talents in the bible. The guy with one talent, buried his talent cause he was scared and didn't know what to do with it. may it never be our portion. I find myself in deep meditation every time i think of this quote. God forbid that i have opportunities and let it slide because i may have had an oversight of an awesome talent that i have.

3.DO  IT YOURSELF
Ene, if you want something to happen, Get up off your ass, and do it! I asked myself honestly if i have been committed to actually doing things for myself or if i am constantly thinking? Think less, Do more!

4. BORROW BALLS
I'm talking about the kind of balls that takes you into the president's office to sign a contract and walk out with a cigar in your hand and when you done, you step on it and flip ya hair. (dreams) I battle with, if having an Ego is a positive or negative thing. sometimes people see that i'm confident (ask my camp friends) other times people see that i'm shy and quiet (ask my friends at work) I say, i choose what i want people to see. I used to have balls,I just wonder where i put them.I just need to learn to apply them when the need arises for them.

5. PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS CRITICIZE
The world is savage, Especially right now. In this social stage. I figured the reason i hold myself back from doing some things is because i worry about what people will think of it. So much pressure to be accepted. You know what, right now, 'I don't give a sh**. Imma jus do me, nigguhhh...'In case you were wondering, that's my queen latifah voice. lol. but really. Do you boo!

6. DO SOMETHING YOU ARE PROUD OF
When i want to praise myself, I either sketch a drawing and share on social media. Sometimes , i don't even need to post it. but i found that every time i draw, even if its never really perfect, i am super proud of myself! its awesome. Find that one thing you do that makes you feel good and do it everyday. its a real confidence-pick me -up.

7 YOU CAN'T CHANGE PEOPLE
People are who they are and so i found myself in this counter-productive quagmire situation where i was trying to change a person and in trying i was drowning at the same time. shiiiiiii!!!....All man for himself. 'they ain't ready for this magic!'So imma step. Remember! take care of yourself first!

8.NEVER MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE NICE
Being nice is never out of style. There is no admiration you can get if you're nasty. sometimes, when i walk on the street and see beggars and ignore them, i sometimes feel a sense of guilt and if it bothers me that this person or child has not eaten or has no where to live, i give the little i have. Remember you're never too important to be nice to people.

Here are a few pictures i took on my birthday for more entertainment
